To Edward,

If you replace the original firmware with the firmware FON provides, you can decide how much bandwidth you want to share to the public, this can be done by just few mouse clicks.

As to the second question, you can always connect to your FON router via both LAN port and wireless channel, you don't need to worry about this.

Oh, by the way, I'm not saying I'm an expert on this, but I do have some experience to share, if you need some help, feel free to contact me.

I want to buy a linkysys router then upgrade to FON as well. Just want to know any firewall setting can control the traffic (public access), and is it possible to use the LAN ports to configure the FON router. You know, you can only configure the FON router (non linksys or buffalo) through it private SSID, that's mean you should buy a USB WLAN device for your PC as well.

Sorry, FON only sells their routers to some regions in the world, doesn't include mainland china. Bad news is they don't provide linksys routers any more.
<blockquote>hbksk says:

where did you get this? Can this be obtained from mainland.
</blockquote>
